Payzen
A story-led case study page for Payzen, the app that takes contractors from quote to payment.
Overview
Payzen is an app that takes contractors from the first quote to final payment in one workflow. This page was designed at Appetiser for the company’s portfolio, telling the story behind it from the founder’s frustration to a sponsorship of Ford Mustang Cup Australia.

Design challenge
A case study has to read like a story and still sell the product. The page needed to move from problem to solution to momentum, show the app working at every step, and stay just as clear on a phone as on a desktop.
Design direction
A light hero with the product on three phones, then the story in alternating deep teal, mint and black sections joined by diagonal edges. Hand-drawn yellow sparks point at the moments that matter, and real app screens carry every feature.

A bold grotesque for headlines, Open Sans for the story and a geometric sans on the feature cards.
